We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Web Developer who will be responsible for optimizing our client’s websites to meet and exceed Core Web Vitals (CWV) benchmarks. This role requires a deep understanding of web performance best practices, particularly in the context of WordPress and PHP development. The successful candidate will work closely with development and design teams to ensure that our client’s websites are not only visually stunning but also lightning-fast and responsive.<\/p>\n

As the Web Developer specializing in Core Web Vitals and web performance, you will play a pivotal role in our client’s team. You will act as the go-to reference person for all matters related to web performance. In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will also be responsible for reviewing code and mentoring developers in the performance area, ensuring that our team continuously improves in this crucial aspect.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CWV optimization strategies into new and existing web projects.
\n\u2022 Conduct thorough audits of websites to identify performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
\n\u2022 Implement best practices for optimizing page load times, reducing server response times, and improving overall website performance.
\n\u2022 Utilize tools like Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights, and WebPageTest to assess and monitor CWV metrics.
\n\u2022 Lead the development and implementation of performance-focused coding practices in WordPress and PHP.
\n\u2022 Troubleshoot and resolve performance-related issues, such as slow queries, excessive resource usage, and render-blocking resources.
\n\u2022 Act as the primary reference person for web performance within the team, providing expertise and guidance.
\n\u2022 Review code to ensure it adheres to web performance best practices.
\n\u2022 Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers on performance optimization techniques.
\n\u2022 Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in web performance and CWV.

Qualifications:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
\n\u2022 Proven track record of optimizing websites for Core Web Vitals (CWV) and web performance.
\n\u2022 Extensive experience with WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development.
\n\u2022 Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
\n\u2022 Expertise in using performance analysis tools and methodologies.
\n\u2022 Familiarity with Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) and server-side caching.
\n\u2022 Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
\n\u2022 Strong communication and teamwork skills.<\/p>\n
