We are looking for a\u00a0Senior Accountant<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0on behalf of one of our clients – an international firm of business consultants and accountants.<\/div>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.<\/li>\n
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements, budget performance, and interim grant financial reporting.<\/li>\n
  • Ensure the timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end close processes.<\/li>\n
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.<\/li>\n
  • Maintain and monitor the company\u2019s internal control systems.<\/li>\n
  • Mentor and train junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.<\/li>\n
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.<\/li>\n
    • English proficiency at C1 level\u00a0(Italian language skills are a bonus).<\/li>\n
    • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.<\/li>\n
    • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.<\/li>\n
    • Self-driven and proactive person, with the ability to manage their tasks and time independently.<\/li>\n
    • Open to a long-term relationship with the company.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
