For our client – a fast-growing Canadian telecommunications company, we are looking for a Finance Team Leader with German.<\/p>\n

Job responsibilities:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u2022 Manage an accounting team and support the team members\u2019 day-to-day tasks and operations,
\nas well as their professional and personal development
\n\u2022 Responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of accounting information as well as the
\nanalytical review of business development
\n\u2022 Perform month-end account closing activities and reconciliations
\n\u2022 Oversee GL balance accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulation
\n\u2022 Oversee the recording and validation of journal entries, ensuring they are accurate and in compliance with the accounting standards
\n\u2022 Prepare local GAAP accounts as of year-end
\n\u2022 Main point of contact for auditors and stakeholders in Germany
\n\u2022 Improve the current processes within the accounting department, create and establish new
\nones in the time of integration between two companies
\n\u2022 Support the ERP migration where necessary
\n\u2022 Provide ad-hoc reports<\/div>\n
Job requirements:\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n
\u2022 University degree in Accounting, ACCA\/CIMA qualified or currently studying for ACCA\/CIMA will
\nbe considered advantage
\n\u2022 Familiar with the relevant Tax requirements;
\n\u2022 German GAAP knowledge will be considered an advantage
\n\u2022 Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting
\n\u2022 SAP, MS Office (advanced Excel skills)
\n\u2022 At least 2 years of leadership and management experience
\n\u2022 Proficient English Language Skills (written and verbal)
\n\u2022 Excellent German Language skills (written and verbal)
\n\u2022 Strong Analytical Skills
\n\u2022 Excellent Networking and Communication Skills
\n\u2022 Customer orientation<\/div>\n
