For our client, a European technology and consulting company delivering next-generation digital transformation and cloud services<\/em>, we are looking for a Desktop Engineer<\/strong> to join their Digital Solutions & End-User Computing Team<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

You will be responsible for the stability, automation, and continuous improvement of the Windows 11 desktop platform<\/strong> in a large enterprise environment, with a strong focus on PowerShell scripting<\/strong> and modern workplace technologies.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Administer and optimize Windows 11<\/strong> client environments and Microsoft 365<\/strong> services.<\/li>\n
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts<\/strong> for automation, troubleshooting, and operational efficiency.<\/li>\n
  • Perform advanced Windows debugging<\/strong> and incident resolution, including driver and kernel-level issues.<\/li>\n
  • Manage OS deployment (OSD)<\/strong>, imaging, and provisioning processes.<\/li>\n
  • Administer Entra ID \/ Active Directory<\/strong>, including GPOs and configuration profiles.<\/li>\n
  • Collaborate with global IT teams on incident response and platform improvements.<\/li>\n
  • Document incidents, root cause analyses, and solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Required Experience & Skills:<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Strong, hands-on PowerShell scripting<\/strong> experience (mandatory<\/strong>).<\/li>\n
    • Solid experience with Windows 11<\/strong> in enterprise environments.<\/li>\n
    • Experience with SCCM \/ Intune<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365<\/strong> and modern browsers.<\/li>\n
    • Experience with Entra ID \/ Active Directory<\/strong> and Group Policies.<\/li>\n
    • Understanding of Windows internals and desktop platform engineering.<\/li>\n
    • Good English communication skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Nice to Have:<\/h3>\n
        \n
      • Basic experience or exposure to C#.<\/li>\n
      • Networking fundamentals (TCP\/IP, DNS).<\/li>\n
      • Familiarity with ITIL or service management practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        **<\/strong>Strong PowerShell expertise is essential. C# is not required at an advanced level \u2014 learning and development are supported.<\/p>\n
