For one of our clients, we are currently looking for a\u00a0Card Operations Specialist\u00a0<\/strong>to join their team.<\/div>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/div>\n
\n
    \n
  • Monitor daily card and payment operations, including successful and failed transactions, onboarding, tokenization, settlement, billing, and related processes<\/li>\n
  • Perform daily operational controls and reconciliations across payment processors, operational platforms, and financial systems<\/li>\n
  • Investigate and resolve transaction discrepancies, settlement differences, data inconsistencies, failed transactions, refunds, and disputes<\/li>\n
  • Analyze transaction, authorization, settlement, billing, and financial data to identify errors, risks, and process improvement opportunities<\/li>\n
  • Perform root cause analysis of incidents affecting payment services, card operations, and system integrations<\/li>\n
  • Coordinate issue resolution with external vendors, payment processors, card issuers, and other service providers<\/li>\n
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for payment-related projects and system improvements<\/li>\n
  • Support technical QA and testing activities in collaboration with IT and other internal departments<\/li>\n
  • Document operational processes, change requests, technical solutions, and system integrations<\/li>\n
  • Provide Finance with issuer-related data, daily reports, and end-of-day processor reporting<\/li>\n
  • Support Customer Service by validating information related to refunds, failed transactions, disputes, and other payment-related cases<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n
    What We’re Looking For:<\/strong><\/div>\n
    \n
      \n
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, IT, Computer Science, or a related field<\/li>\n
    • 2\u20133 years of relevant experience in banking, card operations, payment processing, PSPs, or a similar environment<\/li>\n
    • Previous experience with card issuing will be considered a strong advantage<\/li>\n
    • Basic understanding of IT environments, infrastructure, APIs, and system integrations<\/li>\n
    • Good understanding of payment standards and financial transaction flows<\/li>\n
    • Knowledge of the card transaction lifecycle, including authorization, clearing, and settlement<\/li>\n
    • Experience with reconciliation processes and operational controls<\/li>\n
    • Experience working with platforms that generate, import, export, or process transaction-related data<\/li>\n
    • SQL and data analysis skills are considered an advantage<\/li>\n
    • Previous experience in fraud management is a plus<\/li>\n
    • Excellent written and spoken English and Bulgarian<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
