As the Regulatory Compliance Manager, you will:
- Organize and lead the Regulatory Compliance department;
- Provide expert advice to management and business stakeholders on all regulatory and operational compliance matters;
- Continuously monitor and map regulatory developments across assigned territories and ensure organizational compliance;
- Liaise with external legal advisors and regulatory/supervisory authorities;
- Draft and review internal policies and procedures applicable to regional subsidiaries;
- Design and implement annual compliance plans and ad-hoc audits, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities;
- Prepare compliance reports for the Board of Directors and Group Audit Committee;
- Manage the submission of regulatory reports to local authorities;
- Conduct regulatory compliance risk assessments.
- Develop and maintain a risk-and-control compliance program;
- Maintain documentation, meet deadlines, and track compliance cases and issues;
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in regulatory compliance, audit, or risk;
- At least 3 years in a managerial or senior compliance position;
- Previous experience with European regulatory compliance projects is a strong advantage.
- Experience with regulatory products in merchant acquiring.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including working with authorities and senior management;
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment;
- Excellent organizational, presentation, and project management skills;
- Professional certification (e.g. CAMS, CRCM) is considered a strong plus;
- Proficiency in AML/CTF and MiFID legislation (both national and EU levels);
- University degree in Law, Banking, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s in European Banking, Payment Regulation, or Risk Management is a plus.
