Description

We are seeking a skilled Windows and Office 365 Engineer to join an innovative IT infrastructure team within a leading international company specializing in cloud technologies and IT services. You will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing Windows Server environments and Microsoft 365 platforms, ensuring high availability, security, and smooth operation of key business systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 2nd level support and troubleshoot complex issues related to Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022).

  • Plan, deploy, and manage Windows Server patching for stability and security.

  • Support file and print services; resolve advanced network permissions and access problems.

  • Manage Active Directory user/computer accounts, security groups, and permissions.

  • Support and optimize VMware ESXi virtual environments.

  • Deliver expert-level support for Microsoft 365 applications, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams.

  • Follow ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.

  • Document solutions and update the knowledge base to improve team efficiency.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Fluent in German (written and spoken).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience (1-3 years in 2nd level IT support or systems administration).

  • Strong expertise in Windows Server operating systems.

  • Proven experience in Microsoft 365 administration and support.

  • Solid understanding of Active Directory management and troubleshooting.

  • Experience with VMware ESXi environments.

  • Good knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

  • Familiarity with ITIL principles and best practices.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Relevant certifications (MCSA, MCSE, ITIL Foundation) are a plus.
