The Role:
As part of the Accounts Receivable (AR) team, you’ll be right at the heart of their finance operations. This role is a dynamic blend of daily transactional tasks and cross-team coordination. You’ll play a vital part in keeping cash flow healthy by ensuring smooth processing of incoming payments, managing customer accounts, and performing credit control activities – all within a fast-paced, multinational environment where your precision and insight will truly make a difference.
What you’ll be doing:
- Independently process incoming payments, electronic bank statements, and perform cash allocation.
- Support and maintain accurate customer master data.
- Participate in dispute resolution and ensure correct payment application.
- Perform credit control tasks: dunning, adjustments, and write-offs.
- Maintain customer accounts and contribute to monthly/year-end closings.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures across the organization’s European operations.
- Track SLAs and KPIs related to AR processes and performance.
- Contribute ideas and participate in initiatives to improve AR efficiency and effectiveness.
What we’re looking for:
- University degree in Economics, Finance, or Business Administration (Accounting focus preferred).
- 2–3 years of experience in accounting, ideally in a complex and international business environment.
- Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable processes.
- Familiarity with end-to-end finance and accounting workflows.
- Experience with ERP systems and strong Excel skills.
- Proficient in English (written and spoken); an additional foreign language is a plus.
