Description

For one of our clients, an established international manufacturer and innovation leader in the consumer appliances industry, we are looking for a Connected Product Manager to lead the strategy and development of the company’s connected products ecosystem.

Position Profile:

  • Own the end-to-end connected products ecosystem across the company’s mobile applications, white-label apps, and third-party platforms (Matter, Google Home, Alexa, Apple Home)
  • Define and drive the company’s connected product strategy by leveraging telemetry, user behavior analytics, customer feedback, and market research to identify user needs, UX trends, and opportunities that inform product decisions
  • Proactively monitor developments in cloud solutions, connected products, voice assistants, and related applications and services, particularly within the consumer electronics and home appliances sectors
  • Establish the connected products roadmap by defining product enhancements and technical development requirements related to connectivity
  •  Lead cross-functional alignment across Product Management, R&D, IT, Marketing, Sales, and Aftersales Service
  • Play a key role in strategic decisions regarding in-house development versus outsourcing
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners and providers to support business and product objectives
  • Drive KPIs, budgeting, and business case development for connected product initiatives
  • Ensure cybersecurity-by-design, data privacy, and regulatory compliance across all connected solutions
  • Manage certifications and compatibility with Matter, Google, Apple, Tuya, and other relevant platforms

Position Requirements:

  • 5+ years in product/IoT/mobile platforms
  • 2+ years in project or product management
  • Strong IoT ecosystem knowledge (Matter, APIs, cloud, embedded)
  • Experience with white-label platforms (e.g. Tuya) and integrations
  • Proven vendor and cross-functional leadership
  • Cybersecurity awareness (OWASP, secure architecture)
  • Degree in Engineering /CS; MBA/ITIL is a plus
  • Certifications: PMP/Agile, Cloud (AWS/Azure), Security (CISSP good-to-have)
