Our client is a private debt fund manager, looking for a Fund Accountant to join their team in Bulgaria.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance:
- Manage the day-to-day relationship with fund administrators
- Oversee capital calls and distribution processes
- Review invoices, accruals, and monthly/quarterly NAVs
- Develop performance metrics and support internal reporting
- Handle intragroup expense reconciliations and fund accounts payable
- Review regulatory returns and support annual audit processes
- Liaise with external auditors and prepare financial statements
- Support the investment team with ad-hoc finance analysis
- Contribute to the internalization of processes previously outsourced
Operations:
- Track and reconcile expenses with fund administrator data
- Calculate and manage portfolio and management fees
- Respond to investor queries and assist with compliance
Your Profile:
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, small-team environment
- Excellent Excel skills and strong communication abilities
- Exposure to private equity or private debt structures is a plus
- Experience working with or at a fund administrator is an advantage
- Experience with Anaplan is a plus
- Proactive, hands-on mindset and entrepreneurial spirit
