For our client, an international company operating across the Nordic region, we are looking for a Finance Controller Nordics to join their finance team.
In this role, you will be responsible for financial controlling, reporting, budgeting and forecasting, while working closely with management and business teams across Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland. You will provide financial insights, monitor business performance and support informed decision-making.
Your responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, including actuals vs. budget, forecast and previous periods;
- Prepare monthly management reports, financial analyses and variance explanations;
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes;
- Monitor project profitability, margins and utilization, supporting Project Managers with forecasting, WIP, billing and contract analysis;
- Support month-end closing and ensure accurate and complete financial reporting;
- Ensure compliance with IFRS requirements and maintain effective internal controls;
- Contribute to business reviews, audits and the continuous improvement of finance processes and reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field;
- 3–7 years of professional experience in Financial Controlling, FP&A, Finance Business Partnering or Accounting;
- Practical experience with IFRS;
- Good understanding of financial reporting and controlling principles;
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting;
- Fluent English;
- Advanced Excel skills;
- Experience with SAP/S4HANA, Power BI, SAC or other reporting tools is a plus.
